Do any of you ladies have a gain on time of the month? I've been on plan 100% but i feel bloated and 'heavy' like you do at this time, i'm not going to sneak on my scales as I want to wait till class, but did many or should i say, DO many of you lose - while they are on?

OK, well I personally dont. I know if I have gained/maintained/lost less its because I didnt syn those extra bits of chocolate I snook in there.

However, I know a poor lady who every week before * week would gain 3lbs and didnt matter what she did, however she would manage to loose on average 9lbs on the other 3 weeks so it ended up 6 over the 4 weeks which isnt bad! 1.5lb a week! If you do gain, you have to look at it over a month and as soon as she noticed this pattern she would walk in knowing it would happen and so wouldnt effect her anymore.

You did so well in your first week, im in the same boat, 2nd week and * week! Nervous but im still sticking to it 100% no excuses. Still got lots of syns for chocolate if I want it. Ill keep and eye out to see how you get on :)

For years my time of the month never affected my losses, but in the last year or so I've found I tend to retain water, even though I never used to (not diet related, i'm just getting old!).

As the plan doesn't affect your cycle, if you didn't retain water before, then your losses shouldn't be affected. If you do retain water and STS or gain at class, it's not because you haven't lost, it's probably just the water weight covering up your loss. The following week, when the extra water has gone, you should see the results for the 2 weeks on the scales.

    Thanks!
Yes custardlipstick (ace name!) i'm nervous for tomorrow, but I have been so good, and I also don't really crave chocolate during my totm, so thats good - been on plan, so I guess if I gain then it might be water!

ETA- Custardlipstick, I notice you're a teacher, I am too, currently on maternity leave but i'll be back to my 10 year olds in June!

I didn't previously, but the closer I get to target the more obvious the effect of * week. I tend to gain 2lbs (or at least have the last 2) but it comes off quickly.

Your lucky! All i want is chocolate. Custard is a nickname and lipsty is what my name comes up as in predictive text so ended up being a good username! I did two days in primary and couldnt hack it! The older ones are much better but cant deal with the neediness lol thankfully ive not been trusted with yr11s but yr8s are worst! I promised to keep my diary on SW related not teaching but at the min the are so closely linked!

Yourll have to let me know how ya get on now :) And ever need math advice ya know where to come! x
