Tin of salmon instead of tuna

    Hi Everybody,

    Just wondering i dont like Tuna is it ok to use a tin of salmon instead

    Hi Floss, I would have thought it was fine. You can certainly substitute it on conventional diets. I would say though, to be careful to remove any skin and cartilage though which could be fatty. Salmon is naturally oilier than Tuna which is why it is preferential but it is still low fat and healthy. The omega oils in salmon are good for you but of course, they say that ALL fat is bad for you in as much as it still has calories, but I would have thought it was OK. Sorry, that all sounds a bit waffley! Very best of luck anyway. X
