    Cambridge diet, sole source
    Just to say "hello" to everyone. I joined this site yesterday as I knew I was starting the cd today. It is now 4.30p.m and I'm doing better than I thought I would. I've tried to keep as busy as possible to stop all thoughts of food and am so far feeling quite pleased with myself:)
    Of course I realise this is only day 1 but I'm going to stay focused and motivated.
    I look forward to getting to know you all.

    Glad its going well so far, what a great start! Keep using this site, it will help you loads. I'm off work at the mo and its whats keeping me going on the diet!

    I too am on SS, I find it so much easier now than I did to start with and to be honest, I never really found it THAT hard in the beginning. Keep the water down it helps loads!

    Its always best to start the diet whilst working in my opinion, because your busy all day! Or even if your just haivng a busy few days until your in ketosis.

    Welcome to the site and the wonderful world of CD. Keep drinking your water & keep yourself busy, especially over the next couple of days which are the hardest, as soon as ketosis kicks in, it all starts to get a bit easier.

    Hey Kate,

    Good luck with your CD journey. This diet is fab and everyone on here is great for support when you are feeling low or just need a giggle!!

    Hang in there for the first few days - these are the hardest and the easiest at the same time. Once ketosis hits you'll be fine xx
