Today's the day

Well, here i am, ready to go. At work working nasty shifts this week. have to work until 11pm interspersed with 7am shifts... carb hangover is going to be awful.

so today is my first day. i have eggs with me, and a feta salad. although i think i used too much lettuce as it seemed to use up an awful lot of my 230g allowance. i want some veg tonight so using the lower amount of salad veg. and i have some cheese to snack on. may head out to tesco for some cooked chicken if i still get hungry...

am starving right now but it's a wee bit early for brekkie just yet... another 10 minutes :D

Sounds like you head is in the 'zone' Abz! Good luck with your first day. Your shifts sound horrible - that must mess with your appetite/eating habits something shocking.

Good luck with it abz. I think Claire is the one to ask about managing the diet with crazy shift patterns. You'll be okay as long as you have understanding colleagues!
Keep It Simple Stupid, it's an old Army phrase abz. i.e. the simpler the plan the more likely it is to work. :D
