I make my curry using chicken stock, and then adding spices such as turmeric, cumin, dried corriander, chilli powder and cinamon. I sometimes put in a syn or twos worth of tomato puree to help thicken it, but its just as nice without x

Mild Curried Hot Pot
454g/1lb Extra Lean Minced beef
1 Onion Chopped
1 Clove Garlic, Crushed (optional)
1 Level tbsp mild curry powder
227g /8oz swede, peeled and chopped
2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
568/1pt Stock made with Bovril
Salt and Ground Black Pepper
Serves 4
1. Preheat oven to 190c/Gas 5. Place all the ingredients in an ovenproof casserole dish and stir well to mix. Cover and cook in the centre of the oven for 1 and 1/2 hours or until the vegetables are tender. Serve with additional free veg of your choice if wish.
