Apologies as I am sure this has been asked a hundred times already but are tomatoes allowed on induction?! I am new to this and slightly confused. I have read that they are not allowed but surely they are ok so long as you include the carbs in your 20g?

    Help is appreciated!

Just looked at my copy of DANDR, it says you can have 140-200g of the list of other veg as long as salad doesn't exceed 230g. Tomato is included in the list, says to measure carb count when raw instead of cooked. How you measure carbs in a tom I dunno.:D

Older versions of atkins suggested you avoid tomatoes in induction. Also they stall some people in the early days (me!) so keep an eye open and definitely limit the amounts
