too much

I know there are recommended amounts of water, but can you have too much?

I had at least 4 litre's yesterday, not all at once, it was just that my mates came round in the evening so I had a bottle of mineral water whilst they had wine.

I generally sip througout the day but just wanted to be sure

thanks

I have no idea and to be honest it confuses me.
I was drinking between 2.5 and 3 litres per day and my CDC has told me its not enough as the more you drink the more you lose so has told me to up it to 4 litres, which is a struggle!!

There will be endless debate over the 'more you drink, the more you shrink' phrase, but the science says it's a myth. Well, unless you have water retention anyway.

The minimum is 2.25 plus extra for bars and tetras.

There is no maximum. Follow your body cues. If it tells you that you are thirsty, drink. If you fancy a drink...drink ;)

The most important rule about drinking is to space it out well throughout the day.

Many people find 3/4L a good amount, but as long as you are doing at least the minimum, don't worry.

Don't forget teas and coffees count as part of your fluid intake :)

I drink 3 litres of water a day and around 6 cups of tea & coffee...hmmm no wonder I pee a lot lol.

Boo x x
