Hi everyone

After spending a loooooong time "dabbling" I have finally realised I need to give this 100% or I might as well stop - and I don't like quitting! So as of today I am setting myself the goal of being 100% on plan until Christmas Day.

The longest I've ever managed being 100% was a week and I felt amazing for it and that was a while ago now. I've not had the willpower to do that again and I know if u can make it past day 4 then I'm well on my way!!

What are your biggest tips you can give on staying on track? How do you resist the temptation of eating?

I really really want to do it this time.

Any help/tips would be amazing xx

Hi there for me it's all about keeping a positive mind :)
Look at everything in a good way, when I first start I embrace the headaches, cold & bad breath because I know it's a sign of going into ketosis & the plan is working . . . . . . .
Post on here as much as you need to ? Maybe start a diary if you don't already have one ?
Fill up on water, green tea, peppermint, I also enjoy the occasional mug of the hot veg flavouring which is great for a salty fix, it's like a very very watery cup of soup.

Tomorrow is my 6 week weigh in and I've been 100% SS all but two days which were both planned events but I now have another 30 clear days without anything to tempt me off the wagon. You've managed a week before and that's the hardest part so you know you can do it. Think of the fab losses and how great you will feel knowing you have given it your all :)

Good luck & keep us posted x x x x

No single piece of food will ever taste as good as being skinny feels. 3 straight months is minimal and once your done you only have to maintain. 3 months out of your entire life is nothing. I did 3 shakes a day plus a boiled egg for breakfast and half a chicken breast at lunchtime. Loads of peppermint tea throughout the day and 3 ltrs of water.

My top tip is not to cheat. You have to be in the right frame of mind for this diet and to really want it. I'd also avoid all social situations for the first month so there's no temptation. Also come on here and read everything, also ask if you need any advise. There's loads of us that have done it and can help.

Just get through the first 10 days and it gets easier and easier. The weigh ins spur you on.

Good luck. X

Total loss - 3 stone 12lb :)

Great goal! I had a similar moment 1 week into this restart- I messed around the first week trying to work out all the ways I could cheat and get away with it ( I didn't)! I drove away from my weigh in thinking well I'll eat what I like today and start ( again) tomorrow. This thought then popped into my head - do you want to lose the ******* weight or not- if you do do it properly if you don't then stop! That was a real moment for me and since then I have been 100%. As for tips- both last time and this time so far I have focused on cheating is NOT a option, no excuses no reason us enough. Socialising, a meal out , birthdays ,christmas etc- no excuse I either have my shake before I go and sit and sip water or make it up and drink it while the others it. I don't make a big thing of it, I just do it and hardly get any comments. If i do get a comment I just reply that I needed drastic intervention and that it's either this or surgery- so far all I have had to that comment is an understanding nod!

i know some people can have planned days /events off and I am jealous of their willpower- I just can't do it - stay 100% yes- come off and on and I lose control. I also follow a couple of diaries- Angel up North is inspirational the way she plans, prepares for events and gets straight back on the next day- just wish I could do it!

so find what works for you and stick to it, let us know how you are doing and good luck :)
