Treadmill problem?

yes, the treadmill is amazing for my own personal weight loss, and i'm seeing great results. but my problem is, i'm getting really bored very quickly on it. even with an ipod or watching tv! does it get easier? is there any ways i could make it more enjoyable?

Interval training will make it less boring.

For example, do a 5 minute warm-up, then sprint for 1 minute, rest for 1 minute, sprint for 90 secs, rest for 1 minute, sprint for 2 minutes, rest for 1 minute, repeat up to 20 minutes or so.

Works great, gets fat burning, and you don't have time to be bored!

I have a treadmill, I can't run for very long at all on it as I'm too unfit, I generally stick to power-walking unless I'm feeling particularly energetic! I get bored too, having my ipod on does help but I still want to give up after a while just because I'm bored, not particularly tired. But I like the changing speeds idea, using the set programmes on my treadmill is good cos it changes speed, starts at warm up, gets faster and slower throughout the programme and slows right down at the end.
