T's Green/EE diary whilst working 4 days a week!

    Hello all,

    I do a mix of EE and green days, I don't like the texture of a lot of meat anymore. I work Mon-Thurs in a busy office so thought I'd start a diary to share what I have

    Weds 11th June - EE day

    breakfast: Oat so simple porridge (sultanas, raisins, cranberry & apple flavour) HEB + 2 syns *was told we could do this in Jan/Feb this year by old consultant, although I know it should be plain oats, but I'm using up what I have in cupboard and I've always done this and had no affect on weight loss but I don't promote it as such as it's technically not enough oats/fibre in the sachets*
    Chopped banana on porridge and 1tsp acacia honey (1 syn)

    Work snacks had through the day; banana, grapes, strawberries, apple, mullerlight mandarin flavour.

    lunch: batchelors cup a pasta tomato and herb, warburtons sandwich thin (5 syns) with scrape of anchor light spreadable (1 syn)

    dinner; quorn lamb grill, 3 x birds eye vegetable fingers (6 syns in total/2 each), carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. HEA of 40g cheddar sprinkled on dinner

    dessert; Danio cherry yogurt (1.5 syns)

    drinks; 4 pints of juice/fluid through the day and 6 mugs of Twinings green tea.

    total syns: 16.5
    HeA; 40g cheese
    HEB; porridge

    just over on syns today, but I'm not concerned. Went shopping to Asda tonight so have more fruit and vege now.

    Thursday 12th June - hungry day (hormonal cause!) - green day

    breakfast; oat so simple porridge, winter pudding flavour - HEB + 1 syn, topped with sliced banana, blueberries and a teeny half tsp acacia honey- 1/2 syn (1 and 1/2 syns)

    work snacks through day; banana, grapes, blueberries, Braeburn apple, few strawberries, mullerlight mandarin yogurt, prepared melon from Asda, 2nd HEB - Alpen light 70kcal bar

    lunch; batchelors tomato and herb pasta and pack of Pom Bear crisps, 19g bag - 5 syns

    dinner; cheese and leek quorn escalope - 7 syns, syn free chips, mixed vege and HEA of cheese

    HEA - 30g low fat cheddar (rather than 40g, 30g was plenty), also dash of skim milk in tea
    HEB - porridge and 2nd HEB - one alpen light 70kcal bar

    lots of food today but loads of super free! Wasn't just greedy either just had a big appetite.

    total syns; 13

    Tomorrow I have to factor in a pub lunch after 5 extra hours of work, going to choose wisely though.

    Friday 13th june - green

    B) 2 x w/meal 400g loaf slices toast, banana, 1tsp acacia honey- 1 syn

    snacks) blueberries, strawberries, mullerlight yogurt, melon chunks, snack a jacks cheeky chutney curls-3.5 syns

    lunch) very naughty but nice small portion of cheese, chips and BBQ sauce at pub

    dinner) cheese cup a pasta - 1.5syns, sandwich thin - 5 syns, scrape of butter - 2 syns

    evening snacks) fruit salad of blueberries, grapes, apples, strawberries, hifi salted caramel bar, 2 biscuits - 4 syns


    HEA - cheese on chips
    HEB x 2 - bread and caramel hifi bar

    total syns; 15 excluding chips, so I estimate 30 in total.
