Tums alternative?

    Tums have citric acid is so does anyone know what I can take instead?

    I would say milk works but that's only ok if you're doing ss+ (although I can't see it hurting to do it on the odd occation!).

    I can't do milk and im not sure soya milk would have the same affect.

    I presume these are for heartburn and excess acid. I suffer from shocking heartburn and use Zantac with no ill affects, works within about an hour and lasts for 12 which is usually enough for it to pass.

    I have a sore tummy that I think is trapped wind (cos after I f*rt its better for a bit). Water makes it worse. I will get some zantac tomorrow. Thanks

    I used to have same problem i took wind ease with no problems
