Hello Everyone. Im a newbie to minimins.
Six months ago, I welcomed two little girls into the world. After alot of intensive care and neonatal I had actually lost the weight I had gained during the pregnancy. Well, since coming out of hospital with the girls, I have gained 10lbs.
I suppose being able to eat what you want, whenever you want does that to do, so does stopping breatfeeding! Damn (you try feeding two babies at once aswell as looking after a three year old)
So here I am six Months and one week later having returned to slimming world with a target in mind. Be the person I was before I had my three children. I love the person who I have become and I love being a mummy to my babies but I dislike what I see in the mirror. At the minute I am not happy with the way I look, how nothing fits etc not to mention the health implications. I suppose having children made me lazy. Everything I do, I do it for them- I grab food on the go, late nights, broken sleep, early mornings means snacking left right and centre.
Well not anymore. Its a new beginning and this time i am 100% commited into losing the weight I have gained over the past nearly 5 years.
I am doing the extra easy diet which is what it says very easy! you can eat all day long ( if you really wanted to) and still lose weigh. This diet benefits me as it can fit around my family. My three year old will eat it as will my husband,who loves the carbs and protien (soldier and triathlete)
MY starting weight was 16stone 10lbs
Yesterday was my first weeks weigh in. 16stone 2lbs. 8 pounds LOSS!!!!


yeah! so happy! over the moon.
How did I do it you may ask? I have no idea! What I do know is I cut out alot of crap. No sugary cereal, no picking, no chocolate ( NONE AT ALL) no crisps other than a few weighed pretzels. I bet youre reading this thinking what can you have?
LOTS! I eat potatoes, mash, lean grilled meat, stir frys, a roast dinner ( minus the yorkie) and ALOT of fruit and veg. I also drink alot of tea and coffee
Next weeks target to lose 2.5 pounds and get into the 15 zone.
