upset, weight gain on it's way

been having trouble with asthma of late and had to have steroids that stalled my weight loss for two weeks.

started getting ill again last night, doctors got me in for an emergency appointment and more steroids for twice as long as last time :sigh: and a new preventer.

said to doc i don't want to start putting weight on again after what i've lost ,he said i will put weight on but it won't be a stone and half :eek: very comforting.

just feeling low, asthma is quite bad so can't exercise or anything, i'll just start walking when i start feeling a little better.

all i can do is stick to my points and hope for the best.

any suggestions would be very welcome!

ohh no, poor you :( ... i hope things get sorted out soon and you can get back to your fab losses. .... just think of how much you've lost and that even though you might put some back on at first, if you hadn't already lost the weight it would just be adding to your start weight !

just stick to the diet, at least you are trying to minimise any gain you might get ! rather then throwing in the towel as you know you'll have a gain and ending up putting on twice as much

i'm quite proud of myself in a way because even though i will probably put weight on i've not gone on a binge.
that's my usual MO, i've stuck to my points, although i did indulge in a whoopie pie.

feeling a little better today and getting on with it, i might even sit down and do some packing after. :)

i have no idea :eek: i put 10 points down.
wasn't anything on the box but figured it couldn't be as bad as carrot cake which is generally 12.

i'm leaving a few points out of my weeklies too just incase i got it wrong.

Just a wee note on the steroid gain. I know someone who does ww, has asthma and was on steroids. She stuck with her pp and although she put on a little weight as soon as she stopped the steroids the gain just fell away quickly. She reckons it wasn't true weight iykwim. Hope this is true for you too. Best of luck xx
