Just after a bit of advice really.
Ive started walking a fair few miles at a time and my current coat is a padded waterproof thingy. Its fine for short walks but the ones ive been doing recently have left me soaking with sweat.
Now ive bought a few tops with some sort of technology thats meant to draw the sweat away from the body but im looking for a new coat. Ive been looking at the soft shell type ones but im unsure if these are suitable ie will they be warm enough but not feel like im wrapped up in tin foil!
I dont want to spend a fortune as im hoping i will only get a few months wear of it till the better weather and then by next winter it should be too big for me!!
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to good coats/jackets for this type of thing?
