Week One SS

Hi all, I started CD SS on 25th June so am on day 2 and have felt really tired all day, felt fine yesterday :(

My first meal on day 1 was porridge and it made me heave, then lunch was potato and leek soup was awful, have only had shakes since and finding them ok.

Does anyone have any tips?

Anyone else on week one?
 
Hello!! Im on week 2 and have only just started to feel better. I also tried the soups and hated them so I live on choc and choc mint shakes!! The only tip I have is just to keep in your head why you're doing this. Ive been so tempted to eat over the past week but have kept going 1 step at a time. I just try to take it day by day and not look too far ahead. The other thing that been really helpful to me is sugar free gum when I was REALLY hungry......

Keep at it, it will get better. I dont think the feeling of wanting to eat goes away, but you learn to deal with it :)
 
I found that drinking plenty of water really helped, every time I felt hungry or wanted to eat I would drink some water.

I found day 4&5 the worse but i'm on day 15 now and feel loads better! I only really get hungry now when I'm due to have a shake.
I favs are... choc mint,choc,strawberry,banana & fruits of the forest.

I havent been able to hold down my shakes today :( feel so ill am drinking loads of water and that aint coming back up!!!
 
Oh Hun I'm sorry you're having a rubbish time! On my first day of SS I stupidly had a porridge thinking mmm porridge but I vomited it up 30 mins later and I felt so rubbish and thought there's no I could do this diet!! But I'm now on day 28 and i still can't believe I made it this far!

Seriously just stick with it really will get easier (which I know might seem hard to believe at this stage!!) just think of all the sugar/ carbs your body is suffering from withdrawals from! It might just take a bit longer but when you reach ketosis it'll all be worth it! You can do you've made it past day one!
