weekly point guilt?

ive just eaten my first 2 weekly points... and i feel REALLY guilty now! I wanted a hot chocolate before bed and was going to use more weekly points but not if im going to feel guilty everytime i touch one of them! Anyone else having this problem??

they are there to be used - they are for everyday use to fit in with your lifestyle. A hot chocolate to warm the cockles on a cold night fits into that category doesnt it? I would use them for something that important!!

I agree, get the hot chocolate out. You won't be using that much into it. Don't be guilt, they are there to be used. Enjoy

you shouldn't feel guilty about eating your weekly allowance. It's part of the points you have available and it's there for you for giving you flexibility!

I'm the same. Before propoints i would save 4 points per day so that i would have a buffer for an off day or if i was going out for a meal or something but i never used them cos the one time i did i felt SOOOOO guilty!!! Dont know why i know they are there to be used but cant help feeling like that...maybe it would be easier to think your on 36 points (29(minimum) + 7 (49 weekly points divided by 7)) and any points u dont eat ur saving??

if it helps you can think like that, but then you would still think "old plan" and feel guilty if you touch it anyway!:rolleyes:

yeh sorry i meant maybe the original post should think of it that way...dont think i can get out of that habit of feeling guilty no matter what way i think of it!! x

I ate one of my weekly points today and feel very guilty :( I know I shouldn't, but I do!

Why feel guilty? Food shouldn't be about guilt, it's just fuel, just something to keep you functioning. The more emotion you apply to it, the more it becomes something difficult to manage. If you're doing WW then trust them, those points are there for you. I ate all my daily points and 3 weekly points yesterday on nothing particularly special, just an ordinary day. The points are there to be eaten, so I ate them!

i didnt even think to feel guilty about it :D

on the old plan i had a treat day on my WI day (still pointing everything) then saved 4 points a day for the rest of the week to cover it. worked for me!

this week monday was my WI so i had a yummy pizza for dinner and used well over 30 points. i have 10 weekly points left so 2 per day for the rest of the week for a small treat a day.

this probably isnt the quickest way to loose (although i average 2lb a week) but fits in with my long term plan of being 'good' 5 days a week and 'not so good' at the weekends after i have lost the weight.
