Weigh in

Got weighed yesterday and I was really disappointed with the results. I only lost 4lb and it just doesn't seem enough. I was hoping to hit the 2 stone mark this week. Hand on heart, I haven't cheated, I think it's just an anti climax from the 13lb the first week and 8lb last week.

4lb is still alot of weight! There will be some weeks that you don't lose as much but don't let it get you down! x x x Keep on going, your doing brilliant x

Andrea, 4lbs is a brilliant weight loss. Well done. It is over the average of 3lb a week. So it is very good.

Well done you are going so well, hang on there hunni x

It's physically impossible for the body to lose the huge amounts you lost over the last 2 weeks EVERY week. DOn't forget that now your glycogen is gone, every ounce you lose now counts and isn't just 'water'.

You're doing great!!

True - I'm at the end of my third week and I've lost barely half that so well done!

Well done Andrea!
I can see why you feel the way you do I lost 4lb in my second week after a ten pound loss the week before.I try and look at how much I've lost in two weeks, and think there is no other diet where you lose this much(I was slimmer of the week twice with a 2lb loss at SW and one week I got it with a pound and a half!)

It would be impossible for your body to keep losing over 4lbs each week!

I lost 25lbs in the first three weeks too - and continued with the 4lbs loss week in week out for a few weeks.

Congratulations on the loss - be proud of it.

Can I just say well done too! It is a fantastic loss and you are doing so well sticking to the plan. If you look at some peoples tickers, they can lose 3 or 4 one week then 5 or 6 the next! Who knows what our crazy bodies are up to but one thing is for sure - if you stick at it you will lose more than is possible than on any other diet in the world! Good luck

Hiya Andrea,
I echo what all the other posters have said and want to add my
CONGRATULATIONS...............
4lbs is 4lbs after all and, yes, after the huge losses in week one and two it must seem paltry to you but hey - I've done 12 lbs in 2 weeks and that will probably be less at my week 3 WI. Be proud of it. You know your losses will even out but you are still well on your way to goal and should feel very proud of continuing on this diet. Also - I like the way of looking at it as over 1/4 of a stone - makes it sound much more impressive.
Well done mate - you will get there before you know it.

Thanks everyone, I can see it now, I think it was just cos I've been having a rough time at home the past few days and it was getting me down. I do intend on smashing 2 stone next week, cos I REALLY really need to get my hair cut LOL 3lb down minimum or I'm going to seriously sulk
