My isn't someone defensive. I've never claimed to be a dietician but there is no way on earth what you posted as your days menus are anywhere near 2000 calories unless you've missed a lot of things off it. FYI minimins doesn't allow diets which are deemed unhealthy and under 800 cals a day. Any posts on here have been concern at the amounts you say you're eating
The 3 days of eating I actually posted starlight DO NOT SPECIFY EXACT AMOUNTS for any of the food I consumed - so how you can equate what calories I am consuming is very bizarre indeed!.
What I may deem as a small portion may be a large portion from someone else's point of view. Things like butter on the bread, bread being from a freshly baked uncut loaf , sauces and gravies etc and the exact amount of sandwich fillings where NOT specified...but then again neither was the coffees and lattes that I consumed...but it DOES NOT need to be because it is NOT A DIET!...and actually it is not even necessary for me to record ANY of the food I consume while following this alternative therapy, it is my choice to do so. But here I am again justifying myself to someone who is clearly having trouble understanding the principles of hypnotherapy.
Let me put this to you another way.....when a member who for example is recovering from Gastric Sleeve surgery posts their food consumption for the day on minimins are they breaking the forum rules because the food they consume is of very low calorific value in total because they cannot physically consume any more due to the operation reducing their stomach size?....I presume not!. I assume you have heard of virtual gastric band hypnotherapy?...Please try and be a little more open-minded and less discouraging and judgemental of me because of my informed choices.
Starlight hypnotherapy weight management is neither a diet nor unhealthy so in the eyes of posting on this forum I am not crossing any boundaries of minimins posting rules. The calorific value of the food I have consumed cannot possibly be clarified or even estimated...so your point of concern is not valid.
I am defensive simply because this thread which was started in good faith has been particularly highjacked and quite frankly I have never experienced so much negativity and misjudgement in all the time that I have been a member of the site, which is sad and disillusioning really considering it is supposed be a friendly weight loss support forum. And with all due respect I have tried to explain the principles of hypnotherapy to those who have questioned my choices and made blinkered judgements. I have had to justify myself to complete strangers who have played judge and jury with no hint of encouragement or acceptance, and you comment arrogantly and sarcastically about me being defensive!!...I wonder why I am!!!
I am very self aware and informed with research in what I am doing and I can categorically confirm that neither am I consuming too few calories or promoting something that is unhealthy.
My diary is posted with all food than has been consumed but then again because it is NOT a diet I do not have to write every ingredient of every single morsel of food consumed.
Starlight, I suggest you read my posts again concerning the subliminal therapy that I am following and you might eventually let it drop about the calorific consumption and might actually get it that this is NOT a diet!.
This is not a diet, its not about calories, counting points, syns are whatever else other 'plans' are based upon. It is about relearning eating habits on the principle that every habit is learned and can be 'unlearned' so to speak.
I will not be justifying myself and my choices to you or anyone else anymore on this thread, nor posting. Which is sad really because there are people out there who may be considering trying hypnotherapy and my food diary post may of reassured them that subliminal therapy does work for those that are perceptive to it...but unfortunately I feel sad that they may just read the other comments and feel less encouraged to seek support or add to the thread.
For the record the very low calorie diet you are following is extremely unhealthy because it promotes ketosis and the over production of ketones which is extremely dangerous for normal kidney and liver function. Please don't preach Starlight!
