Weight Watchers Kitchen Scales - don't weigh?

Hello everyone

I bought the Weight Watchers ProPoints Plan Kitchen Scales at my meeting last night and when I put something on them the weight does not change from 0g or 0.00 oz (all food has free ProPoints? lol)

Has anyone else had an issue with this?

I've called customer services and they have said I can post them back to WW and they will then send me a new set, this will take a couple of weeks .

I don't have the scales, although I have borrowed someone's for a couple of days and they worked fine, like ordinary digital scales but with PP as well. I might put them on my Christmas list. I have had several glitches with the pedometer (I've had 3 since Feb) so I sometimes wonder about the quality of the manufacturing they buy their branded products from but in general I've only heard positive things about the WW scale from those who bought it.
