Well there goes the diet

my advice would be to rest up and not to worry, as your body heals you will naturally even out with your weight and wether you lose gain or stay the same the important thing is that you are ok. a week or two's halt in slimming world isn't going to do much harm in the grand scheme of things, go easy on yourself, everything will be fine :)
 
several reasons for a gain none related to fat xx

firstly you will be retaining water in the cells due to the swelling and its how the tissues repair themselves

also because the body has been starved it will go into starvation mode and start to store more carbohydrate to use as energy.

don't worry about it, carry on with the plan and it will straigten itself out :D

Thanks everyone for the replies. Think I just sort of panicked this morning when I seen the gain and thought to myself.. oh no!
Still feeling very sore, doing my best to optimise and get back on track. x x
