** I hope this thread doesn`t offend anyone as it mentions food and if the mods feel it`s too much please feel free to remove it!!!

I know i`m only into week 2 on LT but I know exactly what I am looking forward to once I can eat again and wondered what you`re all looking forward to?

For refeeding, I can`t wait to tuck into some yummy Rainbow Trout! I love it and miss it!!

For my first proper meal once I have finished refeed, I am looking to a SCRUMMY! Roast Beef dinner with all the trimmings!!! I adore roast beef and yorkshire pudds and the veg <3 *drooools*

I might give the roasters a miss though as I`m worried about introducing carbs to my diet as I have real problems with them :( I bloat like michelin man when I eat them and if I eat too much bread my digestive system shuts down :( Panicking about eating carbs and piling weight back on

Anyway...The drink i`m looking forward to is a nice ice cold Mojito!!! Not missing any cold drinks as i`m not a big drinker of water etc anyway and am happy to drink black coffee/green tea already.

So, If you`d like to share then please do!

Hmmm, well for a while I really was quite missing a cup of milky tea or coffee but I am really quite used to them black now.

I'm not sure what I'm missing! I know that I want to make conscious decisions to have much smaller portions and to snack a LOT less than before LT - so i think that's where my mindset is.

i don't WANT to be missing things like crisps or cheese because actually i want to eat them a lot less when i start eating again, if that makes sense.

I miss cooking though. I live on my own and actually live in hotels during the week, so I miss pottering about in the kitchen and creating food. Looking forward to getting back to the cookery books :) And looking forward to being able to eat when I go out for dinner and lunch with friends/family!

Looking forward to solid food, the crunch of ice is all very well but it ain't a proper chew!!

Lol, its funny how its the simple traditional type food we are all missing and luckily not the naughty stuff! In total honesty I really cant wait to have a bowl of veggie soup- thats all, thats it, thats all I want lol!

Drinks wise, a glass of ice cold fanta zero would go down a treat :D

Chicken for me too - maybe cause it's one of the first things you can eat on re-feed!!

I can't wait to tuck into baked chicken with pesto, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with a side serving of couscous. Mmmmmmmmmm...

BUT - I am well in the LT "zone" at the moment. Feeling happy with my shakes and water - having good loses and generally getting on with it. It does us good to dream however.

At the beginning all I wanted was a chinese. Then the smell of them turned my stomach!(I could virtually taste the grease from the smell?!).
Then I craved seafood...any kind, in salads, stirfrys, bakes, anything! And since I finished re-feed thats almost all I've eaten! LOL!
Oh...and chocolate, but only at a certain totm!

I am missing fish! Me, of all people who hated fish at the beginning of the year and only started to eat it this year.

So, hate to tell you folk, but for my first re-feed meal tomorrow night ;-) I am having some smoked haddock or is it cod (cant rememeber now) and a nice small bowl of salad.

Now, to me that sounds like heaven on earth :)!! who would have thought.

But, strangely enough, I am not missing much, and just want to eat healthily and not stodgily (if there is a word)!!

Hehe it IS funny how we are all hankering after decent home comfort/traditional style foods rather than junk! :D

I`m torn because although I`m looking forward to eating again, It also worries me :sigh:

Join the Club!! LOL! Hopefully the fact that we had the willpower to avoid food altogether for months will let something in our heads 'click'- that we don't NEED to eat the cr*p we were to let ourselves get as big as we were? I'm on wk5 post-LT and maintaining so far....but its a minefield!

Well done on maintaining :D You`re doing FAB :D

I`m not worried about eating the wrong food, Just about ANYTHING I eat making me balloon :(

I am going to avoid carbs I think until I know I`m maintaining my weight once I start eating.
