I have been on ss for ages now. I am getting a bit bored with the packs.

What can I add? I use black pepper and tabasco sauce. Is there a list? I think I read on another thread that you can add cinnamon? If anybody can share with me what they use - would appreciate it.

Luckily I stay in ketosis easy - so am not overly worried.

thanks :)

Hi Butterscotch

I use black pepper and tabasco as you do. Additionally cinnamon in my shakes and chinese five spice in my soup. All of these suggested on this website. It does help to add these to spice up the meals. The crisps taste really nice with these added ingredients.

Hi,

Tabasco is not recommended but I know many use this without problems.

The cinnamon and nutmeg - wait until week three then check to see it doesn't take you out of ketosis. Nutmeg is lovely on top of the vanilla or banana. Banana mousse made from the Tetra with nutmeg on the top tastes just like egg custard.

lg of curry powder can be added to the soups, again with some people it can make them hungry.

Never add anything salty so no soy sauce or worcestershiresauce but any pepper is okay.

Hi I add:
tabasco
chilli powder
curry powder
garlic granules
oregano
italian herbs
coffee (to choc or vanilla shake)
tablet sweetners
(not all at once though...although I did accidentally make a chilli chocolate shake once..it was interesting)
