What do you do?

There's been quite a bit of chat about card making on the boards recently.

So what hobbies do people have; and crafty talents?

I knit and sew and also do a bit of beading and jewellery making.

My first love is the card making, but I'm into scrapbooking too, plus I make notebooks and calandars and little journals.

I've made beaded little butterflies before and I got a jewllery making kit for christmas but not had the chance to play with it yet!

I am very crafty, I can make anything with basically nothing.

I used to be a craft freak and as a result have TONS of stuff. I was mainly into card making / rubber stamping and scrapbooking but now I'm at Uni and don't have much time for cutting & sticking. I'm going to keep a few of my favourite rubber stamps and some supplies for scrapbooking but I've decided to car boot most of the card making stuff (just waiting for the better weather!)

Knitting is about my all when it comes to craft though I have done a few cross stitches in the past. Am currently knitting a couple of jacket's/cardigans for when I get to about a size 14.

Almost finished this one - just sewn it together and about to start knitting the collar.

I love art. I oil paint, draw, make jewelery, pottery....for a time was making candles and soap.

I've just shown DS2 some of your paintings. He said a double WOW.

He's doing art at A level next year and we've discussed him doing a painting (or 3) on canvas for our 'new' living room.

He's more into weird stuff though

I plan to do some more adventurous work.....most of the photos in the albums are course paintings, and the type of paintings I teach. I qualified a few years ago to be an instructor - I have just never sorted anything out...so those are mainly a 'wet on wet' technique. I do plan to branch out. One day. I have loads in my head I want to do - I just need a faerie with a magic wand to come clear out my studio!!

I can knit and I used to Crochet when I was younger and really enjoyed it. Might have to think about that again!!!

Does it count as a craft that I can dress any crab or lobster for the table in under 4 minutes, scane mussels, open a tray of 12 oysters in 3 minutes and fillet a 10lb Cod in 30 seconds
