I always class my day as starting when I get up and ending when I go to bed, regardless of times. When Im on nights my day starts around 5pm and ends about 7am. I must admit a midnight cut off has never occured to me at all.

OMG, you're thinking too much. Next you'll plan to go on holiday and post to ask us how to cope with eating, as you cross into a different time zone on the plane! Hahaha!
