What is the best beef mince to use??

i buy Asda extra lean minced beef which is free on red and extra easy.
Can be used as HEB on green plan too. xxx

Ahh I see. Im sure you can get extra lean mince from other supermarkets but if not you can use lean mince instead but would have to syn it.
I know of some people who use it still and dont count it as syns but I prefer to go by the sw book and do as it says lol xx

In Tesco..

They do Extra lean Steak Mince - 2 packets for £5 = 1KG. It's been on offer for forever and a day..

Oh I've seen that one. Is that free too ?? Might pop up there today lol

yep that is also free. As long as its extra lean its fine

My friends went for me but got the wrong mince. It was just the tesco lean steak mince

Any ideas on syns for this one please??

That's not bad then .. 9 sins for whole 500g pack. Which will be between 4 and the veg will bulk the shepherds pie up with mash on top Mmmmmm. Thanks again x

Why not pan fry lean mince, pour off the liquid, then add it too the dish. It's an extra pan, but what would the syn value be then?
