morning everyone

i was just wondering what the ideal weight would be for a person who is 5,6" as i really havent got a clue.

id love to be a size 10 like i was about 5 years ago (before i had my kids and met OH). I was 18 top 20 bottom when i started cambridge im now 12 top 14 bottom.

i THINK i was 9-10st before when i was a size 10 but is that a ok weight range.

Ive tryed looking at all the charts and stuff and it just confuses me:D

Hiya Dinky

At 5'6 you want to be aiming for 11st to be at BMI 25, which is the top of the healthy range and you could go down to as low as just under 9 stone to be at BMI 20 which is the lowest end of the healthy scale. It's really finding what suits your frame and depending on where you lose the weight from. Being a pear shape I lose the most weight from my top half and if I go to low I start to look scrawny and my ribs show, even though I've still got a hefty padding around my thighs :p

Probably aim for around 10 stone, right in the middle of the range and I'm sure you'll be in your size 10's then.

All the best
