what is wrong with me ?????

been doing cd now for 4 weeks ( should have been wk 3 on ss) however i am good for a week , fall off big style, then im good for a week and here i am wk 4 and being terrible again . i keep blaming it all on hormones and as im having gynae problems... itslike the excuse im looking for ! roll on my appointment in 3 weeks with gynaecolgist to get everything out .
having said all that i am 12 1/2 lb lighter and havent gained on my bad weeks and this being a bad week the scales show 1lb down !
im jealous of everyone else who is doing so well but i cant seem to get over my bad week syndrome . i fall in ketosis quite easily within 48 hours but havent seen the k fairy this week, since saturday !! i still have my aim of loosing another stone which i need to do for when i get my hysterectomy ....
any thoughts anyone ? am going to cause myself problems dieting like this ?

I am exactly the same...I become complacent that I have had a good week and then I can hear little voices calling me from the fridge or the cupboard!!!
Don't dispair though!!!

You are lucky that you can get back into ketosis straight away and that you haven't had a gain....but Hun, that will not always be the case and before you know it....weight will start to creep back again.

Decide what it is that you want to do with yourself....do you want to get your health sorted first and then concentrate on Cambridge, or would you rather do the both and get it all out of the way?

You have done really well so far and you certainly wouldn't have acheived these results on any of the other conventional diets, regardless of having the odd slip up here and there.
We are all human and CD is set to test even the strongest of us!! I have caved in twice since starting this plan and I weigh this evening!!! Argh!!!
The important thing to realise is that you are trying again and haven't completely given up!

I wish that there was something that I could say that would stop the nibbling, as I would love to hear that myself!!! However, decide what it is you want to do and go for it whole heartedly.....we are here for advice and support at any time.

Aww Sue hun, I think we do look for excuses like it only takes 2 days to get back into ketosis etc dont we. Just take things a day at a time thats all we can do really. Had WI and only lost 1lb! Own fault tho and CDC said I'll be holding water because of what I ate past 2 nights, better week next week tho, didn't get any bars, maybe next week.
well I had a terrible week last week:sigh: . started halloween with the chocs left after the trick n treats had been and continued until sunday:cry: weigh in was monday night and i had put 1lb on:cry::cry: so i am back on now so lets hope we can both focus
Sue, it's really hard to do this diet when your head's not in the right place.

I think you should have a good think about your reasons for wanting to lose weight and how miserable it makes you feel when you don't stick to it.

Take a day at the time and don't look too far ahead. I find that much easier when I'm struggling mentally with doing this.

YOU CAN DO THIS Sue. Just think how proud you will be if you can lose the weight you want to lose and help your health too.

What you have to keep in mind, is when you have your operation, as far as I am aware you have to go up the stages of CD before the op and you can't go back onto CD for 12 weeks after... so you need to get your bum into gear before the deadline approaches...

Sorry did that sound harsh... just want you to know all the facts, but I am sure a CDC will be along shortly to let you know..

Look at how far you have come 12.5lbs, if you weighed that out in flour or fat it is a huge amount.... so come on Sue you can do it...
