what to do on saturday night manchester area

Right girls and boys need help .
got 3 days with hubby no kids next week
We have use of a car and would like to do something different ,so wed to fri (sat morn possibly )5th to 7 th november live in north yorkshire but dont mind travelling .
Any ideas of a small holiday for little money or something going on in your area that would be fun for us to go to ,or a nice mini trip abroard.Only idea we come up with so far is to go Anglesey to see hubby family on one of days but nothing definate yet xx Thanks in advance for any ideas

I love Anglesey - and at this time of year you can get cottages really cheap. From Hollyhead you can even go across to Ireland for the day if you wanted.

What about doing a mini break with DFDS from Newcastle to Amsterdam? You can get some really good offers sometimes.

Or Newcastle itself, we stayed in the premier inn at Royal Quays (shopping outlet) and it was fab.

cottages4you.co.uk do two, three , four night breaks in cottages all over the country. If you're doing it last min as you are then you cant book on the site, you have to phone, but you could check the site for ideas an availability xxx

We have finally decided to go to anglesey for 2 days hubbies mam and sister are there maybe over to ireland for the day .Then to manchester for retail therepy and going to the dogs for a meal and some gambling then more shopping the next day still not got anything for the saturday night but might find something yet fingers xed

Just a thought anyone know something cheapish to do in manchester area .Not into clubbing but a nice hotel with decent entertainment would be good that has a decent restaurant in or close by may be able to splash out if we win at dogs lol .I could be persusded to go else where as long as its on way back to n.yorks ish .
