Some lovely steamed tenderstem broccolli or some steamed fine green beans with a bit of lemon juice squeezed over (I am thinking something 'green' would look nice- I like lots of lovely colours on a plate)

I usually have a salad and either a jacket potato or a few new potatoes, enjoy, it sounds lovely....

Chips and beans I agree plus I would add some sweet corn :D but yes you can never go wrong with chips and beans!
