Hi there

There seems to be alot of differing opinions on this but I believe the official Cambridge guidance is that if you are following sole source and you reach BMI 26 you should start up the plans, although some CDCs advise you to start at BMI 25 plus 1 stone. That is where I am at and am about to start up the plans.

Cheers

Hi
Once your BMI gets to 25 + 1 stone you would then go onto to the 790 plan and then work up from there...you will still lose weight on the 790 but it starts to get you use to portion control and introducing eating again..

Sorry, I could be being incredibly obtuse here....but what does BMI 25 + 1 stone mean?

My BMI is 25.6, I think...should I now be on 790? I haven't even had an AAMW yet

Yes you should be on 790....

AAMW should be done on the 5th week....4 weeks ss then aamw then 4 weeks ss then aamw

does this make sense...
It does make sense....this is my 4th week, so AAMW should be next week - should I be suggesting to my CD that I move straight to 790 then?

If I understand correctly then, 790 starts when you are the equivalent of 1 stone away from BMI 25??
