Lol, I used to tell my kids that......they believed it too.

My mum used to tell me that when there was a thunderclap it was because God was very angry with us for being naughty.....I was petrified of Him

My sister's friend and neighbour used to tell her kids that the leccy meter was a money box and (bless 'em) they used to put their 50p pieces in it thinking they were saving up for treats!!!!!!

if you stood in dogs poo you would get your sums right... i half beleive this is true cos my friend at the time DID stand in dogs poo and she DID get all her sums right!
