Which carbs should i be counting?

just the carbs bit on UK foods, the book is USA and they break down their carbs into sugar/fiber i think so we just count the total carbs

yep spot on, EU count just carbs, everywhere else subtract the fibre.

So do you extract the fibre content for everything or just the veg? :confused:

OK - so just I can be clear on this - for me!

The label (UK) says - 6g Carbs / 100 - I therefore weigh 100g and hey presto I can count 6g.

The Label (Non UK) says - 6g Carbs of which 3g is fibre / 100 and therefore I weigh 100g and only count 3g...

Am I close?

Almost spot on Brian!

EU labels are the same as UK, US ones add fibre in their carb count.
