Depends really, both can be high or low depending on what they put in it. If there's no cream and stuff in the soup, I'd go for that personally.

I would agree with Caroline unless the soup is creamy.

A lot of restaurants put sauce etc on prawn cocktails.

If you want it as low cal as possible stay away from the bread, just eat the soup on its own.

or could you not ask them to put no sauce on the prawn cocktail, tell them you have a mayo allergy or something if you don't want to tell them its for diet reasons, I have done that before....
