Which will work best?

My best friend says she does a VLCD.

She eats 600 calories a day of food, low-carb. She says she has a yoghurt for breakfast, a meal replacement shake for lunch, fish & salad (or similar) for dinner. Plenty of water.

I love the idea of eating food, but I am unsure if her version works.

Even if you take a multi-vit and eat nutritional food, will you lose weight?

I have heard a lot about ketosis but don't understand how to get into it and stay into it.

Please advise!
