I have to follow RED days only due to advice from Diabetic Nurse (God I miss Green Days - :( )
Am hoping to read other peoples online diaries for inspiration / ideas....anyone else on red days only and posting their menus?

Hi Jill...I mainly stick to Red days...my food diary is above if you want some ideas...I have 5-6 Red days and 1 Green day a week...trying the EE plan today and still unsure! Chicken and pasta salad is soooo unusual! Lol

Hiya I do mostly red. Lunches are usually leftovers from dinner the night before so I don't have to think too much (or survive off just a salad)!

The creamy cheesey sauce (recipe on here somewhere) goes really nice with chicken, steak, pork etc and its really lovely. Makes you feel like you're having something really naughty!

I think you do have to be a bit more organised on red but there are some fab recipes on here .... diet coke chicken being one of them! Also, curries .... which you could have with 'cauli rice' instead of normal rice (its lovely, really).

Hello,

I mainly do red with 1 or 2 green days thrown in during the week.

Breakfast usually includes bacon, eggs, quorn sausage, mushrooms and tomato's.

I use my HEA on soya milk and use my HEB's on weetabix, alpen lights, ryvita, 227g baked pot, 198g new pot or beans/pasta

Lunches i go for chicken, quorn or tuna with salad/veggies and cottage cheese.

Dinners i go for fish, lamb, pork, venison etc with steamed veg.

I tend to use my syn's for salad cream, mayo, dressings, gravies and fun size choc bars.

I find red works really well for me, higher protein diets seem to work well with my metabolism.
