Wholemeal bread > 40g

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can put me straight with this one. I know I am allowed 40g of wholemeal bread roll, but the roll I have is 56g. How do I go about this, do I syn the difference , i.e. 16g or the syn the whole roll?

Hi Juliebags, just checked my book and it is indeed a 60g wholemeal role. RESULT!!! Not quite sure where I got it in my head it was only 40g. Nice wee outcome if I say so myself.

It's because they say to take slices from a loaf which weight 400gms or 800gms etc. I never bought a loaf that weighed that much so had to look it up.

Lol , a few extra grams makes all the difference on this diet , esp something as lively as bread !!!
