Wht went wrong with icecream

How long did you churn the yoghurt? It's awhile since I made ice cream but seem to recall it took 10-20+ minutes. If you froze the insert all night it should be cold enough to work. :)

Also I see a post in the summer recipes that says it may take 20-30 minutes and you may need to freeze the insert for 24hrs. This will depend on the model I guess as I don't recall mine taking that long but sounds like some do.

The bowl needs to be frozen for a good 24 hours - longer if you can.

The churning can take up to 30 mins depending on how cold the mixture is that you are pouring in. The consistency should be like a soft Whippy Icecream
