An idea why the shakes have to be consumed within 15 minutes? I know I'd fair better if I could sip on them throughout the day rather than taking them at once :sigh:

    Hi,

They need to be consumed within 15 mins as the vitamins and nutrients begin to dissapear after that time. If you are struggling to drink the shakes, try to make them with the minimum amount of water so you can get them down quicker?

Hi Clair. I'm ok with the shakes, no probs there!! What I'm finding hard is the hunger! I know that by sipping the shakes through out the day would help me emensley with the hunger pangs :sigh: I don't quite get though how the vitamins can "dissapear" Do they crawl up out of the glass?? :8855:

    Hi Jackie,

It's early days for you, but in time the hunger pangs do eventually go away, but regularly sipping your water should help. I find that fizzy water helps as the bubbles fill you up!

I too cannot see how the vitamins can vanish from your shake, but my pharmacist did tell me this is what happens.

Some of the vitamins in the shake are water-soluble and will dissolve in water, those vitamins are B complex group and vitamin C. The 15 minute rule is there to make sure you are getting your required intake of vitamins as they are essential to good health when on a food replacement diet such as Lipotrim.

Sounds a bit weird... My chemist said it's because it's soya based it can taste funny after longer.. Oh well who knows ... Might both be right x
