Why loose it now?

For me, I'd been overweight my whole adult life and especially put on some more a few years ago during a really stressful time. I'd naively expected the extra weight to fall off when things got better, and of course it didn't. I think I finally realised that unless I did something I would just continue getting slowly fatter and fatter, and that I wouldn't wake up magically thin one day like I'd always expected to.
