Why not boiling water?

For the shakes and soups that can be taken hot, the instructions say not to use boiling water.

Is this for a health and safety point of view which they have to state so people don't try to blend boiling water and then sue them for burns or if the water is too hot does it destroy the nutrients and vitamins?

I like my food hot (yes boiling hot) and find that even if I leave the kettle a few minutes the soups are not hot enough for me and taste disgusting.

I don't however want to 'damage' the meals with boiling water!

    Hi Edwin

I started today and my CDC mentioned this - she said that the nutrients in the shakes would be lost if mixed with boiling water. She said to leave boiling water to cool for a couple minutes before adding the shake or soup.

Hope this helps, maybe a CDC on here could confirm tho?
