why the headaches???

Hi

If you wake up with a headache it's probably a neck posture/muscle tension issue. This is a frequent cause of headaches. Do you by any chance clench your jaw when you sleep or grind your teeth? If you use computers in work talk to your safety rep about getting a work station assessment to make sure your equipment is laid out to encourage you to adopt correct posture while at work.

Here's a few links that should help:

Chronic Tension-type Headache | Health | Patient UK

If any of the above reasonates with you and you have access to a physio at all I'd recommend them as the first port of call as they will release a lot of muscle tension and give you some exercises.

Hope this helps
