Was wondering why is the amount of water so important to weight loss ?
 
im not an atkinser, but water flushes you out really well, and curbs any "boredom hungers" also fills you up a bit more if you drink before you have a meal.
 
Reasons why you should drink lots of water -

1 - we're mostly made up of water, consider it a top up :)
2 - flushes the carbs out
3 - makes your skin, hair and nails look better
4 - fills you up
5 - makes you go to the loo lots, so there's a bit of extra exercise
