congrats for being so optimistic! but im sure it will fall off next week. You really made me feel that even if i dont lose much this week i will continue. thanks!

Firstly, congrats on your weight loss, it is a quarter down not up so well done.
Secondly, take your measurements, they do help when the scales tell you one thing and you feel another.
Thirdly, the sh***y subject, someone posted about this before, when you sit on the loo use a small foot stool, if not possible a small pile of books. Put your feet up on them, it takes the strain off and tilts you in the right direction. As someone else said that's why kids have their butt so far down the loo they look like they will fall in, this may help.

I've tried that Doirin. Nothing doing.. Methinks a trip to the docs might be in order -my tummy is really sore and tender. Some industial cleaning out is called for!

All I can really say hun, is don't worry! YOU know that you are following this diet to the letter, so don't worry about what the pharmacist is thinking. Even though it's 0.25lb loss, the thing to remember is that it's still a loss! There are tons of reasons as to why it was so low for you this week, however, I'm betting you that you'll get a really great result at your next weigh in. Sometimes, you get little tests to see how you handle the situation and this could be yours and the fact you said you felt more determined to succeed is absolutely fantastic and you should be proud of yourself. You WILL get there so chin up honey! You're doing fantastically well and if the pharmacist get's snotty, just tell him, the diet is hard enough without his disapproving looks being shot your way. It's unprofessional and disheartening especially when you should be getting as much encouragement as possible. But either way, you have us all on here! :D:D:D:D
 
Rose! I love your attitude! You go girl! Well done on the half a pound. You need to get rid of the poo. I still think that's the reason I lost 7 this week. Try and get a good clear out the day before next weigh in. I honestly do think it adds pounds when your constipated. Also having PCOS doesn't help. If you're in real bad pain then take the Duloc as soon as possible, don't suffer. If that doesn't help, go to the Docs. I do feel for you as I know exactly what it's like.

Meh at ketostix, throw them out, they only mess with your head.

Oh, go to Holland & Barrett and get pysllium husks as I've been taking them regularly all week and I've gone every day since! A bloody miracle, so it is!
