Seriously, I am sick of myself. Every monday I restart my diet and every weekend it comes crashing down, disasterously. I have never been so bad at something as I am at losing weight. I just cannot seem to do it.

1 x exercise a week and occasionally watching what I eat in the week but going overboard on weekends.

The only way I out I can see is going down the surgery route and it's not an option I can really afford.

Why am I so lazy - i need to pull my finger out and just effing try but every week I fail and the lbs just pile on. I am destined to be 15 stones forever :( :(

If anyone lives near Halifax, West Yorkshire, and would be able to support me in the flesh I'd be eternally grateful.

I find weekends hard too. My OH is munching on icecream, beer and pizza and im craving it so bad. You can still have weekend treats try saving your weeklies for weekend, have a takeaway and a drink. If maybe you switched your weigh in day to a friday morning or near end of week you would be more motivated as you would have your 'bad' days on weekend and would have monday-thursday to pull it back.

    You can do this! x

I am just so annoyed with myself - every week I come back to Minimins full of hope and enthusiasm and then it all goes wrong!

I know how you feel :( I was always a start monday diet girl. But i joined ww on 24th May and although not every week hasnt been 100% lost 11.5lbs. been on hols for 2 weeks and still stuck to this..longest i have ever stuck to something. Maybe break your weightloss down into mini goals, like every silver 7. When its like that its not so bad. You should start a food diary on here i find that really helped me, as i know im updating what i eat on here and i dont want it to be awful. I still have a way to go yet but seeing success stories makes me want to keep going. Giving myself goals and rewards helps me not look at it like a couple of stone to lose but more managable :) xx

i used to be like that too.. i'd highly recommend a book called 'the beck diet solution' it helps to get you motivated and keep your goal in mind. helped me massive amounts, and now i can handle weekends easily as my ultimate goal is constantly in the forefront of my mind! you can buy it from that cheap book shop the works, or amazon xxx

Ive been in the same boat hun! It took me about four years to get in the right frame of mind to get back to losing ways!!

I think it helps to remind yourself why you want to do this, so when you are tempted you can resist by telling yourself no cos you want your goal. Ive also found it easier since accepting that losing weight has to be a permanent change for the long term rather than losing as much as quickly as possible.

Have a long hard think about what it is that stops you sticking to it. Is it feeling hungry, not planning ahead? Or thinking if you deviate off plan youve blown it? As soon as you know why you can take steps to prevent it in future. Hope all goes well for you xx

I have been finding the weekends harder, even before when on SW i found them hard, now I try to do my shopping on thurs/friday so that all the nice fruit and veg is in and there is plenty of food to cook meals rather than get takeaways.

hope you have a positive weekend :)

Try to cook a new recipe at the weekend, that way you're looking forward to something a bit special.
