Have just returned from a week's holiday to Turkey and had a wonderful time, but unfortunately that included lots of yummy food! Have been back on SS+ since Tues and I weigh in tomorrow morning. Am absolutely dreading it, but hope that the three days I've been back on CD have at least done some damage limitation!!
Hope you are all ok and have had a good couple of weeks - I really missed visiting Minimins every day and although I'm missing the lovely Turkish sunshine it's nice to be back! xx

I am sure you will be fine! The main thing is that you had a fab holiday! Looking out the window at the rain....I know where I would rather be!

I am sure any you may have put on will be lost in the first week back.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow, although looking at your losses to date, I don't think you need it!

Phew - only put on 1lb. Am actually quite amazed considering that I ate/drank what I wanted last week, although think I still had my mini-CDC on my shoulder telling me to be sensible! Now the hard part cos I need to remain strong and not succumb to thoughts of "it's ok to just have a little bit of this/that cos it was ok last week".

oo a 1lb is not so bad, that will be gone in no time!

Hope you enjoyed your holiday. Turkey is one of my favourite places and I got married there :)

1lb is not bad at all....well done on a small gain, you'll loose that in no time.

I was just about to ask the same question!

I'm going on my hols in seven weeks.. can you share what you ate and drank while you were away.. any tips gratefully received..:)

as long as u get back on with no problems sometimes best way not to weight urself for first few days

i was bit worried i got back yesterday but had weigh in today despite first time eating consitnely every night for 10 days still lost a pound as i said in another thread the water the trick for me i drink more when away

Well done, that's not bad at all! Where in Turkey did you go? I love it there, was there for ten days in June (Dalyan).

I think Turkish is my favourite cuisine.....and what I wouldnt' give for a cold Efes right now!

I know the feeling! I went to Italy half board, ate and drank, expected to put on 5 stone or something and managed to lose 1lb! Was such a relief.

Thanks everyone! Turkey was fab and I so wish I was still there. I really can't complain about anything this holiday, the people/food/resort/hotel etc were all lovely.

Sarah Lou - I got a lot of tips on turkish food from people on here which was great to prepare myself mentally before I went away. I tried to stick to low carb as best I could but also wanted to enjoy my holiday and not spend all my time away being on a diet. We ate a lot of grilled chicken (kebabs etc) and salad. Unfortunately(!) they serve chips & rice with everything but the food is plentiful so easy to leave the carbs and fill up on other stuff. There wasn't really much in the way of desserts, so that made life easier although I did have a few ice creams. Where are you going on your holiday?

LizS I stuck to Vodka & coke zero, although the ice cold Efes did look tempting!
I didn't go up any plans which I probably should have and since I've been back I've been back on SS+. I think I've had a bit carb withdrawal this week, but I'm sure I can get through that.

We went to Olu Deniz nr Fethiye and I would highly recommend it - a beautiful place with lovely people. Can't wait to go back. x.
