I am so Fed up with other women's nasty comments I work in office with quite a few ladies and since I decided to get a grip of my weight last year by taking my oversized self to a slimming world group and going every week without fail and losing 4st 1lb and finally getting into a size. 10/12 I'm not under weight I now weight 149lb and I am 5 ft 3in but recently like today I was asked if I had been to class which I replied yes I was then told I need to stop going weekly and that I'm obsessed and need to start putting weight back on and then another comment I got was "my son seen u the other day he did not recognise u (well how did he no it was me then) he said u look ill" or another one was its lunch time - I hope u are going to eat something or u look very scrawny around your neck it's quite aging
I'm sorry if my weight loss is upsetting u, I'm sorry if your jealous I have will power nd determination, your more than welcome to join me at class but stop being as ***** I am not hurting myself or anyone else

I know a few people like that, most of the time it is just pure jealousy. You've done really well and you should be proud. :)

It's shocking how much people put you down, whichever side of the scale you are! Well done for losing everything you wanted to :) Ignore the witches xx

People can be so rude! 5 years ago I lost 7 stone (Put it all back on, hence why I am here again lol), and I remember still having a BMI of about 29 and family members telling me I looked ill and had to stop. I think it's a combination of people being so used to you being overweight that it shocks them to see you slimmer and it distorts the way they see you and also sometimes, a wee bit of jealousy.

Well done on your weightloss.xx
Don't ever let someone put you down. Congratulations on achieving you goals. Some people out there lead such miserable lives that they take satisfaction in putting people down. This men/women don't deserve any of your time and certainly you cannot allow them to define how you feel and act.

I think a lot of these rude reactions are based on fear. You're moving forward and improving yourself - they are not - they are getting left behind. Your success makes them uncomfortable at the lack of their own. When you're overweight and fed up - they feel more comfortable - misery loves company and all that. Ignore their negatives and make sure you surround yourself with positive people when you're not at work. You have done fabulously well and having a 10 stone goal for your height isn't extreme in anyway, it's healthy! Sod them!! Continue to do what makes YOU happy.

People with simple minds will always need someone else to put down in order to try and make themselves feel better- they were probably *****ing behind your back before you lost the weight too purely because it gives them something to do where they can stop thinking about what's wrong with them and their own lives for a couple of minutes.
As long as you know it's all a result of their bitter jealously you're good, hold your head high and take pride in the fact you're not one of them :)

I had the same thing when I lost some weight a couple of years ago- a lot of people I knew at the time were doing fad diets trying to lose weight themselves and when I lost some (didn't even get within a stone of my goal weight, mind) they all immediately told me I had to stop as I looked 'ill' and 'gaunt'...I was still technically classed as "overweight" but they couldn't stop themselves!
