Worried about getting constiatef

    I know there have been others asking this before but what can I take to prevent constipation?

    Have you started the diet yet? for me it was the opposite for nearly 2 weeks lol, think everyones body reacts different Mine was in shock from all the water and goodness in the shakes

    What I have is psyllium husk but thats more of a preventative measure. If you are already having problems with C, I don't think you should have it.
    Not sure what you can try, have you tried drinking more water??
    Hear sometimes people with this problem use senekot?
    Of course don't listen to me, go see your pharmacist sure they will know what to do!!

    whatever you do dont do what i did and take vitamins on the side lol it caused me to be blocked for a whole week! but apart from that i drink plenty of fluids and space your shakes out evenly and youl be fine! :)

    Ive had conctipation all week so last nite i took a laxative which hepled a great deal . Although it was funny sprinting up the stairs every 5 mins lol. If its that bad speak to your cdc they do a cambridge fibre maybe that will help you . Goodluck

    Drink plenty of water, and take psyllium husks from holland and barrett this will help prevent constipation, if you are already suffering with it, then you might have to take a ducolax or something similar, but as soon as you have got it back on track then start the psyllium husks capsules.

    I'm not actually constipated at the moment but last toime on CD I had it really bad, just want to try and prevent it this time.

    Will try senekot I think x x

    I am not sure of the contents of senekot, and I think they might be for when you have constipation rather than prevention, you also cannot use fybogel.

    I have used the psyllium husk capsules both times that I have been on this diet and it has not effected my weight losses, you can get them in holland and barrett
