It depends on so many things... did you have mayo? Chilli sauce? My local kebaby actually pours vegetable oil all over the salad so it's very difficult to know for sure.

I guess it's to keep it from discolouring and to make it moist. I just read another post about someone's local sandwich shop adding butter to the baked beans. It just goes to show how many hidden sins are out there, even when we think we're making good choices!

hi mutts- try making your own , it'll be just as nice, and you'll know where you are with syns etc. can i tell you how i make mine please? hope you dont mind.

i cut up the chicken into chunks and griddle them. i use an asda wholemeal pitta ( if from co-op or asda then you can use as heB) shred some cabbage and lettuce and onion. i make sw chips and i make garlic mayo with extra light mayo and garlic. then i make a chilli sauce which is devine. The whole meal was gorgeous. And within plan.

chilli sauce
carton of passata, chopped onion, chopped red chilli, garlic, dash of worcestershire sauce and a little powdered chilli. really nice and freezes well.

salad looks a little anaemic in this picture but i didnt have flash on and the salad is only lettuce, cabbage and onion.
