Yasmine's SW Diary

Yasmine

One last chance
Hi guys, I'm a little nervous about being on SW after a VLCD. Since coming off Lipotrim I have gained quite a lot of weight from being ill and eating the wrong foods and was thinking of returning, but how long can I keep a VLCD up? I could end up damaging something. So I thought I'd give SW a go.

Hi Yasmine,

Will be following your progress with interest. I'm hopefully coming off Cambridge end of the month and want to move over to SW. Are you just doing green days or a combination.

Thanks very much gemma :).

Well done on your losses so far, very close to target I can see. I'm doing a combination of greens, reds and extra easy. Extra easy seems very appealing though LOL

Hi Hun...this all looks good to me! Dont be alarmed at how much you can eat, especially after coming from a VLCD like Lighter Life or Camebridge..I have been there before too!
The one thing I would say to be aware of, if you have come from a VLCD and gone straight to SW, you may experience a gain, but that will come off the week after, its just your body's way of adjusting to eating food again, so please dont be upset. If you expect it to happen then you will be prepared! You may loose instead though (our bodies play games with us!), so dont go filling up with dread!!
I gained 2lbs in my first week after coming from CD, but the following week I lost 8lbs.
Your diet sheets look great and the main thing is that you are having a varied plan.

Keep it up!

x

Wow, thanks so much. I'm glad there are people who also were on a VLCD. Thing is when i came off I ate the wrong foods and gained over 20lbs in just 2 weeks, so I'm hoping for a loss as my metabolisn and glycogen stores must be filled up now.

I was getting worried that i'm eating too much LOL I just can't get over how much we're allowed. But I eat a lot of yoghurt and fruit, free one's of course.

How long have you been on Slimming world? I'm hoping toget to 10st before july 6th

Everything looks good Yasmine! The only correction I would make is that ryvitas are 1.5syns not 3 so even better :D

LOL yeh I just checked that earlier. I took out 2 ryvita's to have as a snack but thought that would have topped a syn total of 15.5 So I left it. But it would'ave been fine :D

Thanks :) it gets easy after a while, so easy that it just seems natural.

I am going to go to the actual meeting tomorrow in the afternoon and I may just count my weight as it shows me that day and carry on from there, but just to see if the plan has lowered my weight from last friday/saturday as I tried to get a kick start before joining.
