Hey Bridesmaid, I found the info here: http://thedukandietsite.com/ I just googled it though, its how I find most information really. :D

I haven't bought any yet, on a bit if a budget at the moment, but I'll be looking to buy some in the future, shall keep you posted.

    Protein powder.

Yeah, it's literally just milk protein, no medications in it. They use it for helping people to heal after serious injuries, I guess because of the protein content.

    Fizzy drinks!

Asda and morrisons own brand cream soda is Dukan safe that I know of. I haven't looked at the tesco one yet to be honnest. I've just updated my list also, with some new finds at a big tesco I went to recently, including a Dukan safe lemonade!

    Protein powder.

I just want the powder to use in recipes to replace the oat bran basically. I've read elsewhere that Dr D is ok with them used like that, I've had experience in the past with using the shakes as meal replacements and thats not my intention for the unflavoured stuff for now. I want to be able to...

    Protein powder.

Do any of you use any protein powders at all? I know we can, and I think it'll help for some recipes to replace the oatbran, but I'm not sure what nutritional info it should have. Anyone know?

    New starter

I too would definitely suggest buying the book at least, I haven't bothered with the membership for the website, far too much money to spend on top of the cost of the food you need to buy anyway. I've got a few of the Dukan books to guide me, and anything I'm not sure about I ask here. It...

    Rich Chicken Gravy

I tried this recipe and I'm not sure what happened.. But, I reduced the stock down, and while it was on the heat still it looked a lovely consistency, looked and smelled delicious. However when I tasted it, it was way too overpowering, and not very nice at all. While I was figuring out what I...

    Agave nectar sweetener?!

Agave nectar is a no-no for the Dukan diet sadly. I found this list the other day while I was looking to see what were ok and what wasn't: Sugar Substitutes and Sweeteners Allowed on the Dukan Diet Aspartame Erythritol Lohan Maltitol Saccharin Stevia Sucralose Xylitol Brands of Sugar...

You're probably safest just to pop into your doctors and make sure everything is all good. If you're not drinking enough, then of course that could be the cause.

    Alcohol help please!!!

Hey Scooter, on the Dukan diet you're only in ketosis during the first two phases :) so attack and cruise, for consolidation and stabilisation you're no longer in ketosis. As soon as you start eating carbs and sugars again, your metabolism goes back to normal. Your body is in ketosis when you...

    Fizzy drinks!

So for the fizzy drinks addicts out there, I hope this thread helps. I've been surprised at the variety of flavours I've managed to find that are sugar free and have 1 calorie or less per 250ml, which is I believe the common rule. I'll share my findings with you, with prices where I've...

    Sleep and the Dukan diet

You know, as my first week has gone on, I've found it easier to wake up and get up. Which for me and my partner has been a great kick up the bum! I've always had issues with having to get up in the night to wee, and I'd just settled into a routine of remembering to stop drinking a few hours...

    WHERE TO GET JELLO FROM

From my own experience with jello, which isn't much, I've only had a couple flavours, but the flavour is stronger and theres a little more variety... Well, American flavours at least, like grape! Which is scrummy, but not Dukan friendly sadly.

    Phase switching

I have no real problem with the PP days, it's gotten easier since starting and playing around with what flavours you can add where to make things tasty.
